The campaign teams of three presidential candidates – Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, Ivo Josipovic and Milan Kujundzic – have submitted to the State Election Commission preliminary reports on donations and campaign costs, while the team of Ivan Vilibor Sincic said on Saturday they would do so by the deadline which expires at midnight today.
Josipovic has raised about HRK 6 million since the campaign began, spending about HRK 5.5 million, the spokeswoman for his team, Mladenka Saric, told Hina. Of the raised amount, HRK 2.1 million were donations from individuals and companies, the rest coming from the political parties supporting the incumbent president’s re-election.
Grabar-Kitarovic said she spent about HRK 2.5 million in the campaign so far, of which HRK 2.4 million were donations.
Kujundzic has received HRK 564,000 in donations so far, spending HRK 391,000, said his spokesman, Ivan Hrstic.
Sincic has spent about HRK 120,000 in citizens’ donations so far, said his campaign manager, Dusan Cvetanovic.
The presidential election will be held on December 28.
