A total of 27 party lists plus one list of a group of citizens were submitted to the Croatian State Election Commission for the election of Croatian members of the European Parliament until Monday midnight when the deadline for the delivery of slates for Croatia’s first election for its deputies to the European Parliament had expired.
In the next 48 hours the election commission is expected to check the validity of those 28 lists for the poll, set for 14 April.
The election campaign starts on 21 March and will last until 13 April when the ban on electioneering before the election day begins.
